Please if you know the answer to my question i would appreciate it if you would give me info BEFORE the sarcasm!!I just received from a friend because they didn't want them anymore..they gave me some info on them BUT i was asking somone else's OPINION!!!

Emperor Scorpions will eat any insect, but crickets from a bait shop are usually the easiest to obtain and safest to feed, since they have not been exposed to pesticides. You will need to feed them at least once a week, and give them one cricket at a time, in case they're not hungry. Remove any crickets running around after a couple of hours. You do not need to "decorate" a scorpion's enclosure, since the scorpion certainly won't appreciate it. The substrate should be a mixture of peat and potting soil, and there should be a large water dish, shallow enough for them to drink from or soak in(yes, Emperor scorpions like to sit in shallow water, some tribute to their ocean-going ancestors, I guess), and keep it full. These scorpions need fairly high humidity, so misting the enclosure with a water spray bottle a few times a week, plus the water dish, will help. Just don't get the substrate soaking wet, or mold will develope. They need to be warm, around 80-85 degrees F, since they are tropical animals. They also need a hide box, something they can crawl into or under, to spend the day, since they are nocturnal.
