Reguarding movies: When you hear the word:
Villian - Your first thought is usually Darth Vader or Wicked Witch Of The West
Killer - You think of Norman Bates, Michael Myers, Freddy or Jason.
Cannibal - you think of Hannibal Lector, first.
Bad Guy - ???
Darth is considered one of the best movie villians because he is so rememberable and leaves an impression. He's an icon. A poster-villian for villians. Maybe he did turn back to the 'light' side, but those thousands of people he killed were still dead. :-)

The Joker from Batman is alot more of a hater than Darth Vader! LOL Atleast in the end Vader came to terms with his son :)

I'd have to agree. When people think movie villain, Darth Vader almost always comes to mind. One of the most impersonated & imitated movie characters of all time.
For those that mention villains like Penguin & Joker, sure they're major players, but not as big as Vader.
For the 1 retard that mentioned Bush...take your stupid rhetoric to the political categories.

He's definatly one of my top 10 alongside Pinhead from Hellraiser and Hannibal Lector from Silence of the Lambs. Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovitt from the play Sweeney Todd were 2 others.
