Brilliant idea, there would be no spin, it would be straight talking all the way as he is known for speaking his mind.

The guy is brilliant at what? If you want someone who,s funny to run the country why not dame edna everidge or somebody, how funny do you want the person running the country to be? I think we,ve had enough funny tories in charge, the only problem with that is they,re the only B,stards laughing, all the way to their money havens while the rest of us are in deep shite trying to laugh it off. what did that great chancellor say if it isn,t hurting it isn,t working, most of us couldn,t see the funny side of that one, maybe we just don,t have a sense of humour, if boris johnson is the answer to that lack of humour I think I would prefer to remain humourless the man is a prick.

Gawd almighty, Boris Johnson as PM?
He is a blithering idiot of the first rank, a imbecilic clownish buffoon with no intelligence at all and even less motor skills. He could not fart and chew gum at the same time. He only got into parliament as his father is rich and influential could afford to send him to Eton. A brain dead prep school catamite.
If you don't believe me, watch his "performances" on Have I Got News For You.

It would be great and refreshing to have someone like Boris in charge......one things for sure he can't do a worse job than the t*ssers we have at the moment!! Now all we need is for someone to move the 'tone clone' out of the way and pave the way for Him

Who is Boris Johnson?? Never heard of him. If he is funny is he a comedian? As a Brit I can not see having an unknown leading any party.

Boris is as sensible as 14 inch stilettos! He is as corrupt as any other politician, obviously craves power and has the subtlety and diplomatic sauve voir faure of prince Philip!
But as we're talking PM what the hell does it matter it's not like other political leaders are any better!

As PM, he wouldn't be free to speak his mind.
So, yes, we could do a lot worse, but realistically it won't and shouldn't happen.
There's no question that we need more people like Boris, though, to restore some sanity to this country.

i do hope not!!!
Individual freedom is the dream of our age. It's what our leaders promise to give us, it defines how we think of ourselves and, repeatedly, we have gone to war to impose freedom around the world. But if you step back and look at what freedom actually means for us today, it's a strange and limited kind of freedom.
Politicians promised to liberate us from the old dead hand of bureaucracy, but they have created an evermore controlling system of social management, driven by targets and numbers. Governments committed to freedom of choice have presided over a rise in inequality and a dramatic collapse in social mobility. And abroad, in Iraq and Afghanistan, the attempt to enforce freedom has led to bloody mayhem and the rise of an authoritarian anti-democratic Islamism. This, in turn, has helped inspire terrorist attacks in Britain. In response, the Government has dismantled long-standing laws designed to protect our freedom.

Super question
Boris Johnson stands no chance of becoming Prime Minister, he's far too popular, forthright, outspoken and there is too bigger risk he would tell the truth.
