oh for goodness sake of course it isn't wrong...it is kind of silly to think it is about the water bill...what if you just really like being with each other?!!!

What's wrong taking a shower together? I don't see any wrong doings on that.Even to a child it doesn't show bad effect but can also learn something like. showing the way how to scrub the elbows, feet and of course telling her it saves a lot of time not one waits outside til' he or she finished when both should leave on the same time to work or go to school. So there is nothing wrong as long you don't do any act as what others do when they go taking a shower then that is bad for a kid to see, and last if the child is around both should have something to cover vital parts of the body. I have done and enjoy taking a shower together.

I shower with my husband all the time. We've been together for three years. It's a great way to spend some quality time alone and if you actually do keep the water bill down, that's great.
It's a good example for the daughter, but since she's asleep, she doesn't really know what's going on.
It's also a good way to keep a little spark in the relationship.
Good luck to you!

Showering together is usually a sexual experience. Can't say you're really saving water by showering together. Think about the water your wasting rotating back and forth, taking turns shampooing or soaping up.
I have a 3 year old daughter. I personally think she can handle seeing mommy and daddy together in the shower, as long as it was purely innocent. Obviously, I would NEVER do anything intimate in front of my daughter. That would be terribly wrong. 3 year olds do not understand what sex is. So, for now, it is innocent.
However, I would not do it for much longer. Kids are learning younger than ever!

The showering together isn't what concerns me. You're 17 and have a 3 year old?? That's what you need to be concerned about. But back to your original question.. it's perfectly fine to shower together. Just keep the door closed or do as you are now, waiting for her to be asleep.

me and my husband have been together for 11 years and have showered together at least 4 to 6 times a week and we have 2 daughters we do not do anything sexual when we shower during our normal morning time just chat and shower and for our children they see this as a normal part of life they are 9 and 5 when we do decide to have fun in the shower we do this at night after bed time behind a locked door so i personally don't think this will cause a problem unless you are all ways having sexual contact during it and letting her walk in on you! and since this does not seem to be the case i would not worry about it!

I believe when you are married that anything goes, with the following exceptions, does it involve other people, does it hurt one or the other, does it go against God's commands? Taking a shower definitely is in the good part of all that. You are fine as long as you are married. What better way to have our children know that we love our spouses, then for them to grow up knowing that it is good and o.k. for married parents to make love, to have fun, to shower, to play together. Excellent example to our children, to show respect and love to their parent. Bravo for getting married! Been showering with my husband for long long time, and our 6 kids have seemed to turn out o.k. LOL

i shower with my boyfriend and i dont think it sets a bad example for your daughter. There is nothing wrong with parents being together, it will help your daughter feel more secure about her parents cause now she can say, "they do everything together, even take a shower!"

Who watches the 3 year old when you are both in the shower. She's too young to be left alone?? If she's sleeping it should be ok as long as it doesn't take too long and she gets up by herself.

A bath is more fun, and the 3 yr old can get in too. But if you guys are from someplace like W'Virginia, or Arkansas, consider having a bath more than once a week. That's the part your friend is worried about, getting that 3 yr old to think one needed bathing more than once or twice a week. I have heard of people who shower or bath, twice a day. You'd think they work for the coroner. anyway, have fun, use hot water, and consider a good grade of soap, and a special soap for the hair, it's called shampoo. You'll like it.

If your daughter is asleep I don't see how this is setting a bad example.
Your friend should mind his/her own business.
Most married couples shower together.
