my best friends brother has asked me out twice. Now hes a little chubby and he asked me out in 9th grade. in 9th grade i was afraid of what people would think so i turned him down. i cant believe i did. now This year he asked me out i told him i liked him but we didnt talk for a long time and then i found out he had a girlfriend they have been goin out for about 4 months or so. my bf told me that they are probably going to break up because they are havin lots of problems. i told my friend i wish i could just tell her brother i loved him. Do u think i should tell him my real feelings or do u think i shouldnt. so that i dont make things weird between us.

I don't think you should tell him you love him. You might scare him off. You could tell your best friend to let him know you are interested in him and would like to date him if he and his girl break up. Once you have done this, let him make the next move. Don't come on too strong. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

I know this will sound like a cliche but, You Dont Know What Love Is, sorry but at your age the love tends to be confused with infatuation. My advise would be to stand back and look at your relationship with him in a neutral stance. Don't see him a prospective BF but instead as a best friend, someone who you can truly share your likes and dislikes with. If he can be your best friend he can be a good boyfriend, try to be good friends with him first... Maybe you will see him in a different light?

Good Luck, Rob

I see no problem, just a question of courage.

Your friend may not want you to get your feelings hurt in the long run, thus ending your friendship

First of all, I'm really glad I'm not in your situation, but if I were, I'd just tell him how I felt. ; )

Then if he likes you he can dump whoever he's with, and if he doesn't, well, you and your bf will be spending a lot of time at your house!!

Don't tell him anything. He has a girlfriend and you're just feeling rejected. You will recuperate in a very short time. Get off your pitty pot and live.

If you really are meant to be together, good things will happen. Just tell him after they break up. I mean, if you and your boyfriend had problem's, you'd want to fix them, not make it worse, right?

I don't think you should say that but nothing is wrong with telling him that you want to go out with him
