I want to hear opinions about this band....why you think it's great, if you've seen them live, etc...

Yeah, because, what's not great about them.
Not only is Dave talented, but he is a very smart man. While bands of today sing about fun, love, personal problems, death, and other stuff
Dave sings about the problems with the world and also other stuff as well. These guys have been around for over 20 years.

I'm not the biggest Megadeth fan, but I definitely feel sorry for Dave Mustaine after seeing him in the "Some Kind Of Monster" documentary about Metallica ... 20-odd years after being booted out of the band and forced to go his own way, it still bothers him immensely, and he is still morosely bitter about it.
I saw them during the Clash of the Titans tour in North Carolina in July of 1991 ... Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and Alice in Chains just before they got really big ... it was a rockin' show!

I enjoy Megadeth. Seen them live at the Aragon in chicago and there were some good fights, I was high though and the bass drum was too loud. I enjoy their music, especially "Addicted to Chaos" off Youthanasia. In general though great riffs and solid grooves. I met Dave Mustane and the bass player, they were cool.

I thing they are good, the one thing i don't like about them is the guitar parts are a little bit repetitive. I have never seen them live but they are good. Some of my favorite songs are, Peace Sells, Angry Again, and Kill the King.
