I would say the Jews. Or rather the 6 million Jews killed, who were obviously affected the most. Everyone seen as outside the norm of German society suffered, the gypsies and the homosexuals, radicals - all were sent to the camps to die...even the mentally retarded and handicapped German population.
Other groups suffered of course, the POWs, the Japanese comfort women, Japanese Americans....but the Jews were the group who lost the most. No other group was slaughtered wholesale by the millions and burnt.
More Russians died than any other group, but they were not a minority or rounded up like cattle - so in terms of suffering, I would say still the Jews "win"
And Daniel, I get your point, but how can Europeans en masse be a minority?

Wow someone went through the answers and anyone who answered Jews, got a thumbs down-
The systematic extermination of Jews (please bear in mind the majority of Jews never lived long enough to even make it to a concentration camp) stands as the blackest of all marks-
Look at a few of the Holocaust's after effects as well- While Israel existed prior to WW2, it had a major effect on its growth and development, as well as the forced immiigration of what people were not killed (ie: Albert Einstein moving to America, etc)

I'd have to say the gypsies, because they were virtually wiped out. The Jews are the second most affected because a larger amount of them survived.
