Use Mother's or Meguire's Car Wax/Polish. Low in grit so it won;t scratch the finish. Wax after washing and drying only. Wax a small section at a time in the shade and the car is cool to the touch. Wipe off the wax then buff. Use "Tire Shine" it looks and lasts as long as the dealers. It's a bit pricey but well worth it.

Wash, Polish (only if you need it), then wax.
Wash: any OTC product will do, do not use dish soap!!! Dry it with good microfiber towel, you can get at Target, Autozone, Pepboys or Walmart.
Polish: only if you have scratch or swirls. Meguiar's or 3M are good OTC products.
Wax: How often you want to wax? Once every 2 weeks, try Carnubba wax. Twice a year, try synthetic sealants. Read the manufacturer instruction, some ask you to leave it until it hazes, others ask to wipe it off immediately.
Tires: Any tire shine products from Autozone, Advnaced Auto Parts or Pepboys are fine. Meguair's will be a good bet.
My personal choice:
Wash: Meguiar's Gold Class
Polish: 3M Imperial Hand Glaze / P21S Paintwork Cleanser
Carnauba Wax: P21S Carnuaba Wax
Synthetic Sealant: Mothers Cleaner Wax
btw, I am an Accord owner

Mothers wax. That is the best. your car must be clean and dry. After you apply the wax in a warm, shaded place you have to wait 'till it turns white and dry, then buff it off. It will shine like new or better!

They say you shouldn't wax a new car, it could effect the paint. Turtle car wax..."wax on, wax off!" Apply wax in a circulair motion and then with a soft cloth, wipe it off. Wax your car in the shade or after the sun goes down, that stuff dries FAST in the heat! They sell tire cleaners to make your tires black.

Check your owners manual. Many of today's auto finishes use a clear coat top coat and any wax or polish seems to harm these clear coat finishes, eventually making them peel. There are tire dressings available at your auto parts store (Auto Zone, Pep Boys), or you can damp a rag in diesel fuel and give them a wipe and they'll shine just fine.

as far as tire shines go find the most expensive one it will be the one that doesn't have silicone in it.
SILICONE WILL TURN YOUR TIRES BROWN with extended usage
As far as wax goes I have never waxed one of my cars. clear coat cars dont require waxing the clear coat has built in UV inhibitors just keep it clean wax clogs the pores of the coatings.
JUST keep your car clean
