There are girls in my science class that believe that just because we're Freshmen in highschool that we should try to asct like we're 21 or older. so today they come to me and ask me to grow up, but I'm not even 15 yet so i think That even though I'm not 10, i should keep on acting goofy because when it comes time, I really won't be allowed to. What do you think.

i agree with u. I am grown up (26 yrs old) and its not all its cracked up to be. But even now i still like to joke around and act goofy. I wouldnt want to go back to childhood because those times are so rough but its hard being an adult too. So just do u.

I had to grow up really fast and feel like I missed out on a lot of my childhood. Don't rush things, even if your friends are doing it! Take your time, live your teenage years, they go by so quickly. In 20 yrs you'll look back as I am and wish you'd slowed down and just been a kid!! =) Good wishes!!

Act your age. Even though I'm only 21, I wish I could redo my childhood and just enjoy it instead of trying to act all grown up. I mean, the older you get, the more stressful life seems to be.

I think it is fine to want your childhood back. I am a freshman too. Sometimes I might think of something that happened when i was younger and it kind of makes me sad because I miss being there. I miss not having to worry about grades and what to wear to school everyday and what people think of me. I sometimes wish that I was a child again and then I wouldn't have to worry about those things. I'm kind of afraid of getting older and having more things to worry about. So it isn't bad to want your childhood back. I kind of want it back sometimes.

smart girl, most of us are so anxious to be grown and think adults make their own choices, when really your youth is the only time in life you are the most free. It's hard to be young, but it's more fun than being old.

they asked you to grow up? ok...

kids grow up to fast, that's why teenagers are getting pregnant, etc. stay a kid for as long as you want. 21 yr olds have to pay bills and rent apartments. who'd want to jump ahead to that?!

I think that we have to try to keep out inocence but I don't think that should leave room for immaturity.
