Claustrophobia.

Apparently, when I was little, I used to cry ALOT and my parents were tired of getting up every night to comfort me. The first night they left me alone I bawled for several hours. My mom said she thought my crying started to sound funny but figured I'd cry myself to sleep. A bit later, she finally decided to check on me. I had somehow gotten stuck between my wall and my bed and if the timing of my "odd crying" is correct, I was stuck that way for at least 30 minutes.

Most of the neighborhood boys would capture snakes and chase the girls around with them, so I have always feared all snakes. I have pet a few large ones as I have aged, but not on my own! I, also, had major claustrophobia when I was young which may have been brought on by the cruel pranks my siblings and I would play on each other such as being shoved into a dark closet with the door held closed and making monster sounds. For many years, I had trouble breathing in closed areas.

Spiders
I had a recurring dream about being strapped in a chair in my attic and being surrounded by spiders. It was horrifying, and I don't know why this happened to me. I remember the dream clearly and I had the same dream several times. Anyway, spiders totally freak me out. I am overcoming this now by forcing myself to kill spiders, mainly because I have children now and I don't want them to think I'm an idiot. But I can't help feeling afraid of them for no reason.

I've got heaps of em, although I don't really know what they are from. Here's some of the major ones:
Birds, Going crazy, dying, crowds, getting poo on my hands, waking up and finding my boyfriend dead in the bed with me, becoming one of those shut in people that weigh 800 pounds, and getting a bug stuck in my ear (and all I could hear was it walking around in there). I'm also a hypochondriac.

Being buried alive
Or being in any small space
I don't know if it is from being
locked in a closet when I was
very young. My Mom use to put
us kids in there, so she could get
her house work done. So she says.
We were each locked in a different
closet through out the house. We
could hear each others cries and
screams. I still have nightmares.

I'm afraid of tornadoes. I think it was brought on when my mom told me about our local eye doctor and his wife and dog who were driving and his wife and dog were sucked out the window by a tornado and died. I just couldn't get that picture out of my head.
