Just wanting opinions on the ability to conceive, I am 29, my partner is 36. I have been on te pill for 6 years and have just be told i have 9 ovarian cysts on my right ovary that is "functional". My mother told me i am to old to have children or to concieve...

During age 29, I give birth to my 1st girl (now age 7) and my 2nd girl at age 31. Now at age 37, planning for the 3rd one.....Age shouldn't be a problem.
During my first pregnancy, Dr found that I had 5 ovarian cysts and each cysts diameter is about 5cm. I went for the impossible operation during my 5th month pregnancy....
Base on my knowledge, ovarian cysts is not 'fertile egg';It is a fluid-filled sac. Probably you had made a 'mistake".

I advise you to visit your Dr again with your husband and your mother. Thru Dr's word, they will understand you better without any further argument and misunderstanding.

Hey.
Well that is just not cool! You can concieve with cysts and be fine! After all its not like you 66! lol...at any rate, my advice is to bulk up on a healthy immune system, such as plenty of vitamins and rest! If you truly want to be a mother, then you will be, its just a matter of when, You must know that things do not happen in our time but in GODS time! The best vitamin that I used was GERITOL-LIQUID FORM it is awful! But it helped me! Take Care!

You are far from being too old. A healthy female in her 20's has about a 25% chance each month of falling pregnant. If your doctor has told you that your overies are functional then I wouldn't stress over it. Your mother has no idea what she is talking about. If you haven't fallen by 12 months go back to your doctor. Good luck

ur mother is an idiot.. srry but u are not to old to have children or concieve....if u are trying to concieve..try for at least a year befor u bring dr in to it...but seeing u already have problems with ovarain cysts u may want to have u and ur partner go through fertility tests... best of luck is u are ttc

no, hun your not too old to conceive. your at the perfect age to be a mother. dont let that get you down. there are women who are having babies in there 50's. there is a conception kit my husband and i been using . it's for low sperm count, timing ovulation, tilted cervix, hostile vaginal environment,. it's a cap and you place it over your cervix. it has directions to it. it is easy to figure out where your cervix is located. it will help you conceive. you have a 3 month supply of the caps. you don't have to disgard the caps after usage. we clean them and reuse them. it's only $250 for the kit. how can you go wrong. go to www.conception kit.com. it explains how it works. good luck sweetie my husband and i have been trying to have our bundle of joy as well. hope this helps.

You are so not too old. My mother had me around 40; and my sister just had a baby a few months ago and she turned 38 in February. Not too old, your mother is just bias. Ask her if she wants grandkids or not. Try naturally for about a year then try doctors. (I hate doctors, though.)

Youre not too old to trying to conceive....I was 37 when I was TTC (trying to conceive) and it took me awhile tho...but I had my miracle baby almost 2 yrs later.....Dont be discourage if you dont get pregnant right away....but it will take awhile...do it now while you can rather waiting til you hit mid-30s not knowing how long it will take you to get pregnant.

your mother is nuts. you are not too old to have a baby you are just the right age. just give it some time and relax , dont think about trying to get pg. stress does not help. the moment you stop thinking sbout getting pg you will be pg

you are not to old but i also have like 2 ovarian cyyst and i'm convinced that it has stopped me from ttc,i'm 35 with 4 children and ttc you are not to old
