She can just use the google (gmail?) account anywhere in the world that she can get to an internet connection. I live in Mexico, have a Yahoo account, and here we are. I just went to http://mail.google.com and the page opened without a problem. It was in Spanish, however, but if she is familiar with the site set-up, she should be able to do this in any language. Help her practice some before she goes.

She can simply access it using her normal URL http://mail.google.com. Her email is stored on that US server, and so it stays there no matter what country she accesses her account from.
This goes for anything on the web. If I made something on a Korean website, and I come to the US, I will still have to type in the same URL to get to that website.

The Internet is the same no matter where you go, except for communist countries who block the daylights out of everything.
In America: "www.google.com"
In Britain: "www.google.com"
In France: "www.google.com"
You get the picture. God bless!
