I don't believe that is true because what us young people do now, it was already done in the 50's and on, Shoot, way back before the 50's. If you really look at it, yes there is a lot of violence going on, but, our generation will not be those crackheads walking down the street. Those crackheads are the ones who was born in the 50's and 60's and now blame everything on "generation X" So don't let the MEDIA fill your head up with nonsense.

People are ignorant because they put up with a lot of BS in their life. As you get older you realize that few people are true and trust worthy, and really don't give a damn about anyone but their self.
If you were more specific people could give you better answer as to and exact problem. You are being too vague. But I don't think you should let it affect your grades.
You're spelling and use of words is a great example of how it's AFFECTING you though.

People are ignorant because they didn't pay attention in school, resulting in simple spelling and grammar mistakes, it's not just the young community. Hitting the "Check Spelling" button is just too easy for most lazy people to bother with, thus they become ignorant with what they never learned well in the first place.
