Sounds like they are interested in you. A hub is where they sort the packages for distribution. That is where you would work as a handler. Good luck, I hope you get the job.

Hub.. Picture a wheel and spoke.
Now , see where San Francisco, Seattle and San Diego are. OK?
Now, see where Omaha, Des Moines and St Louis are located.
UPS would like to run directly from San Francisco to Omaha, Des Moines and St Louis, to deliver the freight ASAP.
The proble,.not enough business to make it worth while.SO. San Fran will load the freight for StL, Omana, Desm, to Denver.
Denver will combine ST louis freight with Stl freight from LA, Seattle, etc.
This way, the trucks are full, the freight keeps moving, and they make money.
Denver is a HUB, they get Stl Freight from, not only SF and LA, but from other cities as well.
UPS has many hubs. Philadelphia is one.
Columbia SC is another.
Good luck. Smile, relax, be neat and clean, and get that job.

If they called you back for an appointment, then that's a good sign and your foot is 1/2 way thru the door. It doesn't mean you will get the job though. You still have to impress the interviewer. Please dress neatly & mind your manners during the interview. Good luck.

The hub is the warehouse where the packages arrive and then get sent out in trucks.

It doesn't mean you'll get a job. I did the same thing, and went through the whole tour process and everything... I mean, you may well get the job (and I hope that you do), but getting an appointment doesn't mean a thing.
