I want to do a project on the light spectrum, or something similar, but don't know what to do or how to make it interesting
Any Ideas?

Use a prism to do some spectral analysis of a distant star of your choosing. You can then determine its elemental make up. This is a fun lab if your interested in spectra.

I quickly looked up a site that should get you started in looking up the info that you need.
