We have no earthly idea why we are on this earth. We are born and like clay in a Master's hands, molded, conditioned into an automaton, of sorts. Like 'a herd' we fall into step never questioning much. If we're one of the lucky ones, we look up (remember Plato's cave?) and a weird craving tugs at us very gently, at first. We want to know more and a huge 'What am I' surfaces. Hundreds of books are read, guru types are sought out and finally, finally SHAZAMMM! We find we are simple awareness "eternal" (no duration) AWARENESS. Sure, in can seem clutter by unending mind chatter, old conditioning rises up...all for our entertainment. How cool is that?

You need to learn how to write a five paragraph persuasive essay.
Paragraph 1: Thesis statement: a statement of your opinion about something Example: Chocolate ice cream is the best choice blah blah blah
Paragraph 2: Supporting your opinion with facts or examples.
Example: The majority of people, 67.5 % according to a recent poll, prefer chocolate as the favorite ice cream flavor..blah blah blah blah
Paragraph 3: Support your opinion with another reason.
Example: Some feel that chocolate is too messy, but recent research proves that chocolate ice cream is the easiest to remove from clothing blah blah blah blah blah....
Paragraph 4: another paragraph to support and clarify your thesis statement. Example: One day, I went to Baskin Robbins. I fainted to to stress at having to choose from 51 flavors! It was horrible and I was rushed to the ER. If only I had simply chosen chocolate from the beginning...blah blah blah blah blah blah
Paragraph 5: Sum it up and repeat your thesis statement in a strong and slightly different and or original way. Example: A famous humorist once said, "Ain't choco ice cream jest grand!" in his folksy yet humorous way. I couldn't agree more. And for the reasons stated above...my choice is chocolate!
That is how you write a persuasive essay. Paragraphs 2-4 are called "supporting paragraphs" they support your opinion that you stated in paragraph one by using examples and facts. Good luck
