I'd rather talk with someone one-on-one. Whenever I'm on the phone with my bf, it seems I have nothing to say, but when we're together this isn't a problem. Just curious.

I don't mind the phone, since my friends and family can be far away. I do prefer one-on-one, but it just isn't practical sometimes. It is a lot easier and cheaper to call Dad than spend $400 on a plane ticket from Houston to Newark just to say, "Hey!"

Besides, calling someone beats texting them all hollow. At least you can converse.

You might be a "body language" person. I've learned that different people prefer different types of communication. Some rely on tone of voice, others on expressions, some rely on touch etc.
You must be highly visual, and maybe your bf is too.

Me. If it's just a quick call to get info or details on something, fine. But for long conversations I prefer to be face to face.

I think the telephone is just a device one uses to make appointments. Anything beyond that becomes tedious.
