I wanted to ask this question because alot of reality tv shows have cameras everywhere and why would it be taped when some things might be fake but seem to be real since it's on tv.

Some of it maybe. But the majority is a big fat NO. Seriously....who would want to marry Flavor Flav? or really love New York? I don't think so....

Nope, I believe it to be real in the sense that the "actors" do not get as much make up, no air brushing, and no body doubles... and a little less script to memorize... and a little less pay, but the rest of the stuff about the shows are fake.... and it bugs me, why call them reality shows, why not call them closer to real life? To me reality shows would be hidden cameras, and catching the real emotions and actions of the people...

Reality TV is fake. Basically the producers ask the volunteers to do stuff to catch the audiences eye.

I thikn that it's half and half. I think that they script some of that stuff to make it more interesting.
