How many hard drives do you have? Usually there is only your C drive, as the others are detachable drives. And if you get Auslogics Disk Defrag, it's totally safe, very fast and reliable.

If you have XP you can find it in the control panel under maitenince (sp?). It's safe and user friendly. You should run a defrag on C and D drives once every 1-2 weeks.

It's safe - click on the Start button then select the control panel and lastly click on performance and maintenance. Pick one of the options and go.

click on start click on run type... defrag.... hit enter and yes it is safe but do it over night it can take hours to do

in win xp, click start >>all programs >>accessories >>system tools >>disk defragmenter.
then click action >>defrag.
it is safe, don't worry, and good for your system.
