What messenger is this? AIM? Why did you get an Internet Explorer error when a messenger program is totally separate?

If this is your workplace, then perhaps your Network Administrator is blocking instant messaging features. What you do is go to MEEBO... http://www.meebo.com - this will go through your firewall.

Cheers!

A runtime blunders is a undertaking with this methodology not your pc. it must be with the aid of a corrupted record or a foul setting up. Uninstall Yahoo Messenger, reboot, then re-acquire and reinstall it.

try out http://www.meebo.com with it you can sign in to all your IM accounts.
plus, you don't need any programs and you never get any error msgs.
not to mention that it doesn't slow down your computer the way that all the IM's usually do.
Don't you think it is about time you upgraded? :)
