Well The sims online is great lol
but there are other ones it depends on what kind of game your into
Theres runescape which involves like fighting and stuff like that (sorry cant give much details cause i dont like it lol)
There is also Second Life, which is sorta like sims online but has a lot more social interaction and from what i am told is very fun
Also if you want a more social game there are things like virtual laguna beach, which you go around and talk to people.. yanno socialize lol
Then there is toontown, by disney which is more for younger children lol but its really fun for older people too lol (dont tell on me haha) and its more of a goal orienteted game where they give you missions you have to go complete and its pretty cool
All of those games are free except for TSO and Toontown
Personally i would suggest The sims online, its really fun and also social and I love it lol! But... to each there own

rune scape is all i can think of. its not the best game but its kinds fun if ur realy bored like me..lol!!
