Many cultures believe in the possibility of shape shifting. It sounds crazy but it is true. Perhaps this is where the werewolf idea came from? Someone who used this ability for negative purposes?

-----Some think that certain rare physical conditions that make a person extremely sensitive to sunlight are the basis of the werewolf mythology and folklore. The storytellers then changed it to make a better story. But the story and movie werewolf--people that can change into wolves--no, they do not exist. It is said that under every legend there is some fact that provides a basis for the legend; the fact may be very removed from the legend. ---Jim
