It doesn't matter who did what; stay out of it If there are legal issues involved, I'm sure a competent lawyer will get it worked out. Even you have all the details and information, and are intimate to the parties involved, I still think it's a bad idea to break this news to your buddy.

Are you definite it's yours and not the uncle and were you scared while you went to bed together with your aunt (by way of marriage I presume)? I'm going to wait and take a paternity scan and go from there. Whether it is yours, I believe you must man up and lay your playing cards on the desk. That is what actual men do, correct?

It's none of your business. Besides if they haven't been together for a year then hopefully your "friend" is smart enough to figure out the gestational period...put two and two to gether and if she puts his name on the birth certificate he can demand a DNA test.

that depends .. would the news hurt him more or would the fact that you are his friend and if he found out you knew and didnt tell him... know what i mean. its not your place BUT it depends. put yourself in his shoes. would you want him to tell you? especially if shes trying to take him for money. in some states that could still be adultry unless they are legally separated and also, if she put his name on the birth certificate a simple test will clear that up

I don't if this is in every state or not, but blood tests are a man's best friend. As far as her putting your friend's name on the birth certificate, he can call for a blood test. (in pa anyway). if you are not in the US. I have no idea. ALso Go ahead and tell him It's your duty as a man to gossip about his ex having a baby. Whether it's his or not, only the blood tests will decide.

It's not your business. I expect they are both adults. He should be able to take care of himself. He should be able to figure out if he's the dad or not. If not, and they do get back together, perhaps you can then suggest he have paternity proven.

Yes, you should tell him only because of the legal issue. He could be named as the father and forced to pay child support if the divorce is not final.

You can tell him if he is your good friend. Just change the situation around and if you would like to know then yes tell him. A good friend would tell a good friend just don't bad mouth her because he can do it but you are not allowed to do that. Just listen and be there for him.
