Replace the hood and try to stay away from these people(or sue them).

Try Dent Wizards or Dent Doctors or similar in phone book...the ones I've dealt with charged about $75.00 per panel for minor dents but it usually is just priced by the amount of time it takes to do the repair so a large area like a hood or roof could run higher. Be aware though that they sometimes can't do much with a hood because the stiffening braces on the underside of the hood prevent them from getting at the dent with their tools.
Another low cost option is to see if you can find a hood in a salvage yard from a car like yours of the same color and just replace it.
Finally, if you feel up to it, I've heard of people getting dents out by using dry ice....sounds kind of funny, I know but the concept intrigues me although I've never done it. Just be careful to wear thick gloves if you try to do this as dry ice can give you a serious burn. What you do is hold a piece of dry ice to the center of the dent and if it's a small dent without any sharp creases it will shrink the metal and pop it back to shape, with luck. Found a video of this...check it out at

Good luck, Paul
