Hi....I love Myrtle Beach. I go every year. There are areas that aren't so great and homelessness is right on the beach near downtown. But the attractions are as nice as they look on tv. It is a clean beach for the most part. I like the north part of Myrtle Beach proper and North Myrtle Beach.....
I hope to move there with the next two years.

MB is AWESOME!!! Yes, it is even better than on TV. I have been there several times. The water is beautiful. The weather is nice and warm, but with a slight occasional breeze. There are so many things to do in MB. You could plan a great week, for an amazing budget. For attractions, you have Ripleys Museum, Aquarium, and House of Horror, Alligator Adventure, Myrtle Waves, Myrtle Beach Speedway, Nascar Cafe and Speedway, Family Kingdom. As far as shopping, the selections are unlimited. You can visit two different Tanger Outlets, Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Colonial Mall. And the best part is, everywhere you go, there is a restaurant, so you don't have to work around your shopping and attractions to grab something delicious. And, a lot of places that offer delivery, will deliver in the wee hours of the morning. There is also a couple of Dinner Theatres that cost around $45 per person for a dinner and show. But whatever you do, if you visit, you must do two things when you get there; 1st turn your TV to channel 33 for all of the info you could ask for about MB, then go do to Coastal Grand Mall on 501, and eat at Sticky Fingers!!! You won't regret it!! Good luck and have a blast!!!

I love Myrtle Beach. I live in N.C. and I go to Myrtle Beach every chance I get. Theres always a lot going on, lots of places to eat, and usually has perfect beach weather there.

Myrtle Beach is wonderful. One of my favorite places to visit. Great for families too.

It's great if you like golf. It's also got a nice beach. Restaurants are nothing special though. Most of the hotels and condo's have lazy rivers which are pretty cool. Theres also lots of shopping at Barefoot Landing and there's a big outlet center. Its got a House of Blues if you are into night clubs and there are casinos nearby. I also think there is an old amusement park downtown.

I just went this past weekend. Had a great time. Lots to do. If you are into shopping...check out Broadway at the Beach & Barefoot Landing. Both have nice resturants and bar/clubs if into that kinda thing. We stayed at Beach Colony Resort which is ocean front. Nice place and reasonable. Indoor and outdoor pools.

If you want a good beach, alot of typcal beach spots and seafood buffets then yes. Fairly good shopping. I go about once a year but only for the day. A bit too tacky but a fun time anyway. --Charleston,SC
