I do noty beleive that Tracy will be a champion. I do believe that his chances are better without Yao however. The rockets have seemed to be a much more dangerous team when McGrady is the man and Yao is injured. The reason for this I strongly beleive is that Yao Ming is not the player that everyone thinks he is. Yes it is true that he has had some good games but come on, the man is 7' huge and he is barely averaging 10 rebounds per game. That is sad. Boozer is tearing him up in boards. The Rockets would be, and have shown in the past that they are a better team when McGrady is the man and Yao is the sidekick, but that onyl happens when Yao is injured. As long as Yao is the focal point in Houston andnot McGrady, the Rockets will not win. Hopefully McGrady can be traded to a team that will use him for his full potential befor ehis body conpletely give out of him. I dont believe TMac has that many years left in him so he better get to a team that can win fast.

Tracy McGrady is an extremely good player. But i think it's safe to say that without Yao Ming, the Rockets may not have a chance. See, each basketball team is like a puzzle board. And in the Rockets, Yao Ming is a very big piece of the puzzle, he contributes on both sides of the court. And he is very intelligent.

yao and mcgrady need each other 2 get 2 have a shot at the championship theyve just never really had many chances. both t mac and yao have never both been 100% healthy at the same time. yao has been 100% while mcgrady was 75% thats the best theyve been. mcgradys body has been thru 2 much so they needa make their move into the playoffs soon or houston needs 2 move mcgrady 4 another xplosive gaurd who can stay healthy.

Yao is better playing in China. Oh! and I don't think the Rockets will win anything...so, with or without Yao...it won't make any difference.

T-Mac is the best player on the team but when they double team him he an give it 2 Yao n only Yao cause he can score the baskets

I think it's a far cry for now. Their tandem in Houston hardly gets in the playoffs. Management should repackage the team and find out what's really lacking. Great talents but lack a heck of a teamwork!!!

NO he hasn't even got to the second round of the playoffs. Thats why I think he is so overrated.
