Anna Nicole Smith worth half a billion dollars and it takes them six and a half weeks to get autopsy results. Why didn’t they use the CSI guys? CSI takes evidence from a dead homeless guy, FedExes it back to the lab and they call them with the results on their cell phone before they even get through traffic on the way back to base.
Anyone else think CSI is too fake to bother to watch?

I can understand your complaint, and it is legitimate, however the show does take some license with the evidence. This has begun to create a problem for prosecutors in court, as jurists expect them to have the same answers, that CSI has, in the same amount of time.

csi takes a tv show that's enjoyable and for entertainment purposes. while the coroner knew from the beginning what the cause of death was and chose to wait a few wks to build up his rep and get publicity. so that's why it ook so long for the results as goes the paternity test. that only takes 24-48 hrs for the results. so it's a /b the people involved. but admit it horatio and his shades are way cool.

It's called suspending belief. It's used in entertainment and in writing. Who wants to wait 3 months for a tv show to solve a crime.I want it wrapped up in an hour.
