I would think so, the airplane is used for transportation just as a police car would be. Radar, camera, video, it may be a combination of all. Having helicopters sweeping your neighborhood is a drag, I hated it and felt my privacy was at stake, but they are cops, just in the air. I guess you could mitigate the charge, but it may be simpler to just pay the fine.

They had to stop doing that in Florida and they paid back allot of fines, take it to court and ask him for his state certification on how to calculate speed in the air, he will most likely not have a state certification, it will most likely be thrown out, we do this in Florida with laser guns also most police have not been certified to use laser but do anyway so they throw it out
