I have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire. My trunk doesn't have a remote release on it, the only way to open the trunk is to fiddle around and stick the key in the back, and 98% of the time the key won't unlock it, so then i have to go and pull the latch in the drivers side of the on the floor. and 25% of the time that won't work. So I was wondering if they make remote trunk releases (you know the things where you push the button on like your keychain, and the trunk opens) for my car.

Sounds like you need to look at the trunk latch. It is either bent or in need of lubrication. Maybe it has something caught in it.

Most audio places should be able to install "poppers" on your trunk, or even a shop, however it would be more costly than fixing your problem right now, which is, you need a new lock cylinder.
