well there are no older avatars
but yeah, it makes me wonder how old everyone is

either someone afraid to own up to their age or, someone in denial. I am 47. I have Black and, gray hair but usually wear a Bandana, because of the dust where I work. right now, I am spending a lot of time in the NASCAR section so, My avatar is My favorite driver, Elliott Sadler. when Football season starts, I have a N.Y. GIANTS helmet. depending on what sport is in season, I switch avatars to, let everyone know who My favorites are.

They don't have any avatars who look like they are over 21, lol. If they do, I haven't found them. If you see a 40ish avatar, let me know!

yes, but not as weird as it gets, believe me.
that person is probably using a picture of a younger self, of maybe a celebrity pic.
on the other hand, i'm 18 *wink, wink* and my yahoo 360 page says i'm 99.
how such things happen??
