RE:
is your flip flop/sandal size the same as your shoe size?
i feel like just ordering online instead of going to the store. but i'm wearing 8.5 shoes, and the sandals only come in size whole numbers...

sandals are the same size as your shoe but dont get a size 8 flip flop they will probably be too small then and if u get a size 9 flip flop it will probably fit all through our summer and spring

shoe size should always be bigger than flip-flop. Shoes are closed in. Flip-Flops are open. your toes are free to wiggle. If you have big, long toes, then you should get 9. Otherwise, you would have a lot of extra space on flip-flop. Best would be size 8 for flip-flop, since your shoe size is 8.5.

No, never. I have flip-flops from size 7 to 10. It just depends how you like them and what you use 'em for. I would suggest finding a size chart for the company you're ordering from, if possible.
Much luck to you. =)

As the sometimes frustrated owner of apparently ever expanding size 16 1/2 feet, I can tell u that most skate shoes will make your feet look bigger because they are padded shoes! Of course there are exceptions.... that said that shoudn't let that stop you at all! As for height, Ull probably be about 5'8 or 5'9, so you will be allright. I'm 6 feet but my feet are bigger than guys that are 6'5! Take care girl!

I usually only get flipflops at Old Navy- And, they're usually 1/2-1whole size smaller. I would try an 8.
