I was always told no. robitussin, tylenol and sudafed were it. Call your Ob just to check though, these things can change all the time. Hope you're feeling better! :)

My doctor told me the only thing i could take since i have been 35 weeks pregnant is tylenol! plain tylenol! No other kinds of tylenol! i see some people that say they've been taking tylenol PM towards the end of their pregnancy, but i know that tylenol PM has some kind of benadryl in it. I would just stick with tylenol only and nothing else.

During my pregnancies, my ob said it was okay to take Tylenol cold, Day Time Formula only. It is always best to check with you own ob before taking any medications. In the meantime, breathright strips and ocean spray can help ease some of your symptoms and are drug free.

a regular tylenol is okay( it is the only safe pain reliever while pregnant), but make sure that if you take tylenol cold that it doesn't have acetemetaphen (that might be spelled wrong, but if it has it, it will be on the label.) hope this helps, and good luck!

You may need to check. It is either ibuprofen or Tylenol that you can't take after 36 weeks because it can cause excessive bleeding in the delivery room. I think it is just ibuprofen, but contact your ob/gyn to make sure.

According to my OB, when I was pregnant, I could take Tylenol (plain) and Sudafed regular strength (the regular one, not the one with added ingredients) and Robitussin. I came down with the bad case of flu and that is about all she allowed me to take. Do not take any medication without prior approval from your doctor. Just call the office and have her/him paged, the doctor won't mind and it will give you peace of mind.

My Doctor told me with both my pregnancies that Tylenol Cold was the only thing I could take. I was sick a lot with my pregnancies and took it as last resort, and my kids are fine!

That's the cold stuff my doc told me was okay! I'd only take it if you think you really need it!
