I always thought people living in most asian countries are emotional, not just vietnamese people.

I'm vietnamese and yes, my feelings are easily hurt. =(

Yes. They're big on honor and saving face. They really read into what your say. Vietnamese culture is high context and prideful. Its not normal to use joking put downs over there.

really? i dont know to tell you the truth i dont know any vietnamese people but i dont think thats true
