Do you tell people what they want to hear or are you truthful?

I always tell them the truth even if it is what they do not want to hear it. I always appreciate the truth even if it isn't pleasing to my ears.

I always tell the truth. It doesn't matter if the person wants to hear the truth or not - I still tell it. Truth is the only way to go!

I try to be truthful but it can be hard.
Example 1: Public place, "Do I look good in these jeans?" a lot of the time the people that ask me these things don't look in those jeans and I don't want to tell them that they look bad in them because I don't to hurt there feelings and embarrass them. So I tell them that they look fine,
Example 2: Private place, "Do I look good in these jeans?" then I would tell them the truth (that they don't look good).
I guess it would depend on were the person asks me and the mood that I'm in...and the person, if I cared for that person I would tell them the truth but if I didn't care for that person so much I tell them what they want to hear.

i'm truthful, but try to be diplomatic. i'm not much of a people pleaser, so if someone asks me to tell them the truth about what i think, i do.
