I am pregnant and no longer with this guy can he be forced to pay doctor bills we both make too much to get on Medicaid or any assistance. He had verbally agreed prior to our break up to pay all the doctor bills. Should I contact my attorney has anyone ever dealt with this can he be forced to pay the doctor bills?

I am not trying to get back at anyone but doctor bills are very expensive and I think it is his responsiblity to help pay. I have not been bitchy at all.

Hopefully, if things aren't bitter between the two of you he'll continue to pay without being forced to legally. It sounds like you two have a verbal contract, but who knows how that will stand up in the state you live in. It might cost more to get a lawyer and fight it out in court than just paying the medical fees. And maybe now that you don't have report both of your incomes you would qualify for medicaid on your own. Try to work it out with him, but if it comes to it get a consultation with a lawyer to figure out which route is best to go.

apply for medicaid because you are pregnant and need good pre natal care.when the paternity test are done the babys father will have to pay back the state and he will pay child support.good luck.

Do not be the bitchy ex who holds a grudge. Just pay your own bills you would actually come out better as attorneys are so expensive. Its sounds like you just want to get back at him to me. Hopefully you get over those childish tactics.
