purchased limewire two days ago. can't connect to it now.what do i do?

If your computer is going through a router to the Internet, make sure the port LimeWire is assigned is unblocked. Same with Windows Firewall and any other software firewall you may have. You can find the port number LimeWire uses by going into the settings.
