do you have any cool movie making tips or tricks? i've got plenty but the more the merrier; lighting is always tricky, do u have any tips on how to play around with lighting? thanks a lot guys! take care!!

-You need to light a room more than you'd have thought. Cameras bring out the best shadows.
-When lighting a room, trying to simulate daylight, add a blue filter to the light; like a translucent gel sheet or something. Blue looks far more natural; left alone, lights tend to look orange.
-Backlights are almost essential. Without one, you lose a sense of depth, which is rrrreally useful.
-Lights dislike water, and gaffer tape is very useful in preventing tripping.
-You need to act more than you'd have thought. Small flinching movements and stuff just aren't obvious without an exteme close up.

Mostly though, you just need to get the camera into the room and see how things look initially through the viewfinder. Then set up some lights, and see how they change things. Move them about; stick them over people, under people, experiment with the space you have. Just try to avoid getting them in the shot, and keep an eye out for lens flares...
