Armando Benitez (Closer - Giants)
[or]
Jorge Julio (Closer - Marlins)

I currently have Benitez. But I am wondering whether or not to add Julio and drop Benitez.

Jorge Julio just arrived to the Marlins in a trade and the announced that he would be the closer.

Who would be better?

I'll just call that one a tie. Benetiz is the better closer but he still has some health concerns. SF has been trying to unload him but may not be able to. Julio has been inconsistent at times but is still better than any other option Florida has.
There will be better closers available at some point in the season than either one.
Keep an eye on the Brewers situation, they still want Turnbow to get back on the horse and be their closer of the future - and he was lights out before he lost his mechanics last year. They may try to work him back in about the third week of April or first of May and if his mechanics are on he could still save 30 games.

I live in the bay area, I am an A's fan but i do know a fair amount the giants. Right now Benitez is set to be the closer but his status on the team is shaky. the gianst are expected to trade him or take him out of the closer role. So the answer would be Jorge Julio!

Both are the same and interchangeable. They are inconsistent pitchers with overpowering stuff. Julio is younger though. I believe that the Benitez will have more save opportunities.

my gut instinct says go with armando benitez because he still has velocity but just was oft-injured last year marring his stats. He will get ya abouit 15 more saves in san fran then julio will in florida just because san fran has zito and cain on the staff which gives benitez a chance to close out more games opposed to just dtrain in florida so go with benitez
hope i helped
goodluck and have fun!!!

its kind of a toss up. benitez might get traded for a setup role reducing his value majorly, julio is very inconsistant and tends to go more for velocity instead of control. So pick your poison, i'd stick with benitez.

i would say benitez is better. julio was ok wen he was on baltimore last year but benitez was a monster. he just had a really bad season last year. im pretty confident hell bounce bak. look at wat he did the year b4.

Soriano genuinely. Soriano has been a 5 type contributor for many of his profession. Rollins did it as quickly as. the only reason Rollins is going in the previous him is via his place. If Soriano grew to become into nonetheless a 2b he might flow in the previous Rollins.
