Oh of course.
You two are very considerate parents.
There will be just "minor" teasing at school, but other than that I would name my daughter Billy Clinton.
You must be on serious drugs to think that's a pretty girl's name.

George is a boys name, first off. If you want to give your daughter a femine variation of George, you should consider Georgina or Georgia or Georgiana.
Tell you the truth, if your kid is named George Bush, she is going to be harassed into oblivion because he is not a very popular president right now due to the War in Iraq and all.

I'm sorry, but don't name your child a name that she will get made fun of. Kids are ruthless. She will come home crying everyday. If you REALLY want to go that route though, use Georgia (or something along that line). Use it as her middle name though. Seriously. Even me, as an adult, would probably have something to say about a child being named George Bush, especially a girl. I'd think there was something VERRRY wrong with the parents. I'd really reconsider this.

I have to say as original as it would be for a girl to have a name such as George Bush do you think maybe that Georgia Bush wouldn't take to much away? However if you are absolutely in love with the name, I think you should. It is very unique and original for a baby girl.

No not George! Not for a girl!

You can use a feminine version of the name like Georgia, Georgeanne, Georgina, Georgine

I do like Georgia or Georgeanne

But I do not think that I would name my child after a president. Especially one that is hated as much as he is.

I think that if you named your daughter George, she might get made fun of in school for having a boy's name and being a girl. So, I'd reconsider a new name for her and wait until you have a boy to name him George.

Even though I have nothing against the President, I would not do this... I think your kid would be the target of teasing later.

If you must go with it, I suggest Georgie, Georgette, Georgina, or some other feminine derivative. And give her a "normal" middle name, so if she later doesn't like the "George" based name, she can choose to use it instead.
