I play sports too! I am 14 and 5'5 and I wear a size 0 which is considered to be small. But average would probably only be like 1 or 2 sizes up so probably like a 1 or a 2 but if you have really muscular thighs maybe a 3 or a 4. (American Eagle runs really big, I wear an xs in hollister which is equal to like a xxxs in American Eagle.)

seeing as every body is completely and utterly different, there is no such thing as an "average size". You could be a hot bodied, thin, muscular athlete and wear a size 7 at 5'4. Or you could be very very thin and wear a 0 or 1. It all depends on your body type. You decide what size is healthiest for you.

Pants sizes vary so much, even within the same brand. You'll really have to try them on and find the size and style that you like best. Besides, the only thing you can decide on height alone is inseam, and yours would be petite or average.

There is NO average jean size. Everyone has a different body type and therefore wears a different size. Not to mention different companies have different sizes. I am a different size at Gap than at American Eagle. You just have to try them on and see what feels good on you. A good fitting pair of jeans is hard to find so good luck!!!

been there, done that. but i have realized that the sizes vary. at ae a size2-4 but at a&f a size 1 it just depends... the point- YOU NEVER KNOW FOR SURE.DONT ORDER ONLINE UNLESS THRSA SIZE CHART.

well im 13 and also 5'4!!! haha wow um idk it always depends on your body shape i am a zero or one... most gurls that i know r like a 0-1-2 around there.
