Revolutions that are carried by youth (see Hitler Youth).
Moral ambiguity of various jobs-- such as mercenary, if you're into that, smuggler, prostitute, etc. Sounds weird, but very fun.
Drowning or any other sort of death that sparks your interest-- death stories don't have to be depressing, they can be very enjoyable to write and to read, if you concentrate on what has been in the person's life. Or maybe I'm just freaky. =)
A character's rise to fame and its negative effects.
Warring factions within a country, civil wars-- not the American civil war, necessarily, there are some other very interesting ones.
Hope I sparked your interest with one of these-- they might all need a bit of research, but I find that to be part of the fun. =)

If you like fiction (I gather you do by your name), consider the audience you're trying for i.e., children, youth, adult, male, female, etc...Mysteries, fantasies are fun usuallly. If you're just doing it for yourself, try journaling things you're interested in because it will make you a stronger writer. An idea for this one, have you tried a dream journal?

teenage girls. im a girl and i love to write. and i find they are easy to write about because teenagers all go through like the puberty and the hormones and stuff..and most people can relate to those..if they are over like 10 yrs old..
