your fatal error is that the install program can not find the file that it is about to install, try cleaning the disk, make sure there are no scratches on the CD/DVD

when your installing a program it is installed in order if it can't install a section of it it will not carry on until that file is lnstalled

hence you get a fatal error message

Web translating - An operating system or application program error from which there is no hope of recovery without rebooting ( and thus losing any unsaved work.)

fatal error is an error which causes a program to abort - and thus may return the user to the operating system. When this happens, data that the program was processing may be lost. A fatal error occurs typically in any of these cases:

* An illegal instruction has been attempted(I think u did this)
* Invalid data or code has been accessed
* The privilege level of an operation is invalid
* A program attempts to divide by zero

In some systems, a fatal error causes the operating system to create a log entry or to save an image (core dump) of the process.

I think your problem is your software cant run or your computer, can be lot of reason in installation
*not suitable with your os
*problem with source of installer(CD scratch, etc)
*low disk space
*The Temp directory is not clean
*A certain file on the machine is locked(close all application and reboot before install)
*Problem with old file installation

There are a lot of reasons for FATAL ERRORS.

If it is during installation then here are the possibilities

1. The software didn't like the OS or the configuration and aborted the install.

2. The OS didn't like the software and forced the install abort.

"didn't like" is extremely ambiguous but that's about all you can say from that sort of error.
