I came out to a couple of friends a couple of years ago, when I was 17 . . . now I'm out to pretty much everybody, and am almost 19.

I was 14 years old and my dad caught me with my girlfriend in my room. Good thing I have a great dad, he just close the door and we finished afterwards we started laughing. Hmm...great times. However I didn't come out to everyone tell 16 and im still feeling the "grief" from my mom (like im dead or something) I swear the things the we go through. my sister said she always knew and my brother and I are closer now.

At 17 I told my best friend who was living in my room and my brother who was also living in my room that I had a crush on a guy. They said they thought so but it was no big deal. That was all I ever said about it. I didn't have to, they did all the talking for me.

i came out to my best friend, and a teacher at age 14....my parents and the rest of my friends at 15.
they were convinced (my parents that is) that i was just "going through a phase" and i was far too young to know anyone...
needless to say i am 24 and still loving women!!

I knew when I was like 8, I told my girlfriend at 13, and everyone else shortly after, I got the "phase'' talk from my mom, but my girlfriend supported me!! ;)

A couple of months ago (age 20). I told my parents first, and a little while later I told my best friend, well, technically she found out after reading one of my questions. LOL.

I'm transsexual.
While my parents had an idea when I was young, I told them when I was 14. They threatened to put me in the state hospital.
Afterward, it took some time.
