Do you feel a tremendously strong bond with your partner like he/she is your soulmate and you want to be with that person for eternity, even after death or is that just fairytale talk and couples don't ever both feel such an incredibly strong connection? By the way, I'm not married...that's why I'm wondering.

Yes, I'm 100% happy with my wife, and I feel that bond with her. I miss her when we are apart. Makes me wish her and I had more time with each other during the day.

Honestly. 100 per cent. Totally happy after over 17 years married, and had known each other for three years before that, had dated two.
It really does feel amazing, and he DOES feel the same way. He said he never felt as free as he did when he got married, and didn't ever understand why single men stayed away from marriage. Guess they didn't meet the right one.
He is totally my soulmate, and I am his. We have had some very tough times, and have always gotten through. Our love grows stronger and deeper all the time, we laugh a lot and have lots of fun together, just being together as a family. Sometimes the connection is scary, but more than that - it's really that somehow we were meant to be together.

I really do have a strong bond with my husband, but I am not always 100% happy with him. Nor is he always 100% happy with me. We both have our quirks and you learn to live with those. Our bond is stronger now than what it was when we first got married because we know what each other needs to feel fulfilled. I am not sure about eternal love because that to me is a religous based belief, but I do think you continue to love someone after they die if you have had a strong bond with them.

Absolutely, Yesterday we celebrated our 8 year anniversary. I couldn't see myself with out him, and I tell him that every day. We love each other more now than we did 8 years ago. I breaks my heart to think that some day we will be old and withered and we will have to leave each other for ever. My Grandparents had a great relationship that lasted 63 years, We all have our hard time but if you don't sweat the small stuff, love is great.
