i was given a pokemon silver and i started a new game then after a while i saved it then turned my SP off. later on i try it on my brothers nintendo gameboy (the oldest kind) for the heck of it and it makes me start a new game- it doesnt have the game that i allready started. i figured oh well its probably the gameboy and i start another game on it and play for a few minutes then i save and turn it off. later i try it again on my SP and again it makes me start a new game and it doesnt have a continue game option. i start another game then play for a few more minutes. next i tried saving, turning off and then turn it back on w/out removing the cartridge and yet again it doesnt have the continue game option. has this ever happened to you and if so, was it fixable and how did u fix it? or if there are any electronic experts?

when i put it into my brothers gameboy, i figured it was the gameboy and not the game because it did that to my pikachu version also
