Anderson,
I love cameron highland even though the fact its getting warmer day by day..

I love it there because of :-
- cheap vegetables & fruit (juicy madu corn)
- cool weather during nitetime..
-peaceful
- love to se my family enjoying their strawberry ice cream or pancakes.

I will always leave CH with bonnet full of stuffs. :)
To avoid warm ambient at CH, u guys need to go during weekdays.. cheaper stuff & hotel rates..

I've been to Cameron Highland(CH) twice before and the latest one was in last chinese new year public holiday. I heard that CH now a days getting warmer and warmer from it's suppose to be, so I decide not to bring any sweater with me (just brought a shawl) because I guess the temperature up there is not cool enough to effect my body + I don't want to carry a heavy bag up there. But my guess is totally wrong and I'm shaken like hell when the night is come. It's good to know that CH still can freezing me and that's why I like CH... it's COOL to be there :)

But to go there during public holiday, can give a headache. Because why? Because you will experience TRAFFIC JAM at every small town that you passing by either FROM or TO Cameron Highlands. Imagine Traffic Jam up to the hill, it's irony. It's not suppose to be like KL.

Sadly, it is those who love CH that is making CH less cooler. CH is now easier to reach via Simpang Pulai near Ipoh. Because of demand by tourists and visitors, the place is booming. New towns are being created. Every piece of land between Kg Raja and Ringlet is already or in the process of being developed or cultivated, leaving little of the original lush jungles that make the highlands cool and inviting. With development, also came environmentally harming vehicle discharges. For those who have not been up CH recently, imagine, traffic jams during holidays and weekends!

CH remains a place of beauty and peace if one knows where to go. Not the commercialized areas but sanctuaries of quiet and tranquility, washed with coolness and mists, especially in the evenings. Please don't drive, take a bus up. Spend a few days to enjoy the countryside walks that leads to hidden treasures!

Went years ago and loved it. Flew into KL from Bkk with my wife, hired a car and drove there. Great drive - particularly the last section up into the Highlands. Can still remember the wonderful smells of the tea plantations. Only pity was not having the chance for a round of golf. Sorry to hear it's not so cool there now. Why?

I like it there for the weather, the not too hectic environment. You can just spend you time walking around, even though up or down hill, looking at the natural. WOW, splendid..

True, it is no more cooling there anymore. Human are getting more and more commercialised... but still not as bad
