Why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people?

Just cuz... I think it's God putting us down sometimes. He doesn't seem to want us to be too happy and the good things happening to bad people is just to piss the good people off?

good things also happen to good people,( and bad things happen to bad people.....especially if they were the cause of something bad happening to a good person.)
