I think you probably can. Some one who is a nice decent person will have a decent avatar. I have seen some trashy avatars and if you want to be respected you need to first have respect for yourself. Your avatar says a lot about the kind of person you are and so it should reflect decency. You should be courteous to others who are online and not present yourself with a lack of class.

No, you really can't judge a book by its cover. Some people have avatars for a dog or a chicken, and I'm pretty sure that's not really them.
I really do have red hair, though! :)

I try not to, but yeah, I'll admit it. Avatars are the only insight to someone's personality, if their avatar looks angry, then the person behind it might have some kind of anger issue etc..

You can't....my avatar doesn't even come close to who I am...I am a grandma 59 years old and I could not put together an older woman that what you see there. I don't judge by anything on here...it is a pony ride!!!

I try not to, especially since I once changed mine because I was going to a concert and my avatar was still there months later.
