Serioiusly, even in my home town, I notice that people who are struggling have so many kids - some 9 months apart! I know in the olden days they wanted to safeguard their own future by creating large families, and therefore be well taken care of in their older years. What really upsets me is that I have also noticed that these children are so dirty and neglected, and pretty much run about freely.

The government pays people to have kids.
Bad system.
Government should not be a charity.

You can't say that every child is neglected, in big families it is really hard for the parents to give 100% attention to all of their children. Some of the poorer populations have more kids because they can't afford contraceptives and the more kids they pop out the more the federal government will be willing to help them. Another thing some people have kids because they feel blessed by everyone, they feel that God has blessed them by allowing them to give berth to so many.

Because sex is free. And those type of people( of any color) have to have some enjoyment in life. They just don't know how to use or obtain birth control. Or maybe they don't believe in birth control. Who knows. It frustrates me to see a mother paying for food with food stamps and she has 5 kids. I always want to ask why? But, in all reality, it is none of my business even though my tax dollars are going to help support these people.

Lack of education on birth control I guess....it is sad to see these kids running around like that when there are so many people out there who want to have kids and can not!

exactly no offense to abybody but look at asia one of the poorest countries in the world people are starving over there and there is over a billion people there

becuz they are spending all their money to provide for their kids. food, clothes, toys, etc. costs money there genius. lol. they probly dont plan to be poor. they wanted to have a large family for sure.
