what's causing the whistling sound ...?

EG8 1.5 Single Cam Fuel Injected Automatic Civic ....anytime i accelerate fast i keep hearing a whistling sound coming from the engine somewhere but this ONLY happens when i'm driving .....any suggestions..?

it's a vacuum leak, usually at the throttle body gasket. They go bad. my 88 crx whistles like a sonovabitch when I hit the gas

Probably a vacuum leak. Look for a hanging or disconnected vacuum hose.
